I remember cigars…
Posted By: Doug on Tuesday Feb 06, 2007 Filed Under: Cigar Life
So I’m traveling this week for work.
And all of my plans to have a few good cigars to review here always seem to be out of reach.
(though I did find a really old cigar review that I will post for you later)
Anyway my predicament is further complicated as I have recently had my first child.
A Boy.
I am finding it hard to find time to smoke. I usually enjoy a fine cigar in my “office”, but lately - even though I have an incredibly effective solution for dealing with smoke - I can’t bring myself to smoke indoors. The little guy’s room is right next door to my Man Cave.
Meanwhile it’s WAY WAY to cold to smoke outside.
My favorite cigar shop is not conveniently located.
The shop that IS conveniently located charges a membership for the right to smoke there.
It seems that it is harder and harder to find a time/place to sit down and REALLY enjoy a cigar.
(especially if you want to give it the attention a proper review deserves)
It got me thinking.
And as I was drafting a Blog about the topic I remembered the StogieGuys had a pretty good post on the topic.
Check it out here.
It’s a good read. I’m not sure there’s a solution in there… but it’s pretty dead on with the situation.
